Many Hands

If you were to walk into Grove Park Elementary on any given weekday, you wouldn’t find our chairs neatly lined in rows, instruments outlining the stage, or pipe and drape lining the walls. Instead, you would find cafeteria tables labeled by class, food serving lines, and children walking to and fro. Every Sunday morning, the people of Doxa Church begin a process to bring Doxa Church to life in a physical space, our church home….Grove Park Elementary.

You’ve probably heard the saying, “It takes a village.” Church planting, opening the doors to a new local church, truly takes many hands. We have been so blessed by all of the hands that show up week after week to make Doxa a place to gather to behold the Gospel in a warm, distraction-free environment. We believe that as disciples of Jesus, we are called to serve selflessly and with open hands (Mark 10:45).

We recently thanked those who serve at Doxa Church with a trip to Snowie in Green Cove Springs. The afternoon was filled with smiles, sugar, and lots of rain!

To those who serve at Doxa- The time you invest in the local church, into making Doxa Church, does not go unnoticed. We love you and we are thankful for you!
