Serve Day at Grove Park

We don’t have your traditional church home. The place we call home as a local church is graciously shared with us every Sunday after being filled with students and teachers during the week. Months of planning went into finding our church home, and we are so very grateful to Grove Park Elementary for opening their doors to Doxa. Our very first Serve Day was an opportunity for us to invest and give back to the school. As disciples of Jesus, we no longer live for ourselves but for the good others. One of our “others” is Grove Park Elementary.

A few weeks ago, several volunteers from Doxa spent the morning alongside teachers cleaning up a few spaces at the school. As you look through the images from our Serve Day, we encourage you to consider the “others” in your life. Who can you serve today? What good can you give away to someone else? The opportunities to serve in our everyday lives are endless!

On Tuesday, May 7 we will recognize Teacher Appreciation Week by providing the teachers and staff at Grove Park Elementary with breakfast. If you would like to serve at this event, please email info@doxaop.church. All volunteers will need to arrive by 7:15 AM.
